Apple Dev Site Hacked by Whitehat Hacker

Last Thursday, Apple shut down it's developers website, today Apple released the following statement on their webpage.

"We’ll be back soon.

Last Thursday, an intruder attempted to secure personal information of our registered developers from our developer website. Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed. In the spirit of transparency, we want to inform you of the issue. We took the site down immediately on Thursday and have been working around the clock since then.
In order to prevent a security threat like this from happening again, we’re completely overhauling our developer systems, updating our server software, and rebuilding our entire database. We apologize for the significant inconvenience that our downtime has caused you and we expect to have the developer website up again soon.
If your program membership was set to expire during this period, it has been extended and your app will remain on the App Store. If you have any other concerns about your account, please contact us.

Thank you for your patience."

 Yesterday the hacker by the name of  ibrahimBalic on a comment he left on the site TechCrunch.com. This is what he commented:

"Hi there,

My name is ibrahim Balic, I am a security researcher. You can also search my name from Facebook's Whitehat List. I do private consulting for particular firms. Recently I have started doing research on Apple inc.

In total I have found 13 bugs and have reported through http://bugreport.apple.com. The bugs are all reported one by one and Apple was informed. I gave details to Apple as much as I can and I've also added screenshots.

One of those bugs have provided me access to users details etc. I immediately reported this to Apple. I have taken 73 users details (all apple inc workers only) and prove them as an example.

4 hours later from my final report Apple developer portal gas closed down and you know it still is. I have emailed and asked if I am putting them in any difficulty so that I can give a break to my research. I have not gotten any respond to this... I have been waiting since then for them to contact me, and today I'm reading news saying that they have been attacked and hacked. In some of the media news I watch/read that whether legal authorities were involved in its investigation of the hack. I'm not feeling very happy with what I read and a bit irritated, as I did not done this research to harm or damage. I didn't attempt to publish or have not shared this situation with anybody else. My aim was to report bugs and collect the datas for the porpoise of seeing how deep I can go within this scope. I have over 100.000+ users details and Apple is informed about this. I didn't attempt to get the datas first and report then, instead I have reported first.

I do not want my name to be in blacklist, please search on this situation. I'm keeping all the evidences, emails and images also I have the records of bugs that I made through Apple bug-report."

Walking Dead 400 days will not be coming to Android because of PIRACY - Telltale Games

Android piracy is always a common phrase within the reach of developers. Many suffer with almost up to 90% percent piracy on Android. Developers sometimes decide its not worth making an Android port. Recently the game Walking Dead 400 Days was released on every single platform expect Android. Telltale games did the same thing with there previous Walking Dead game. iOS has the heart of many developers, but what is the problem with Android at the moment?

Recently Telltale Games, who developed the popular Walking Dead game franchise, told IGN this:

"[Apple] has a proven marketplace to directly sell to every connected user at the end of an iOS device, which means better predictability as a lead platform," Allison told IGN. "Android has made great strides with Google Play growing into the go-to marketplace for Android gamers, but it’s still an ecosystem of many stores and a little harder to know what to expect on a game-by-game basis."

"One of the many things that has kept Telltale from supporting the platform up to now is a critical mass of Android devices able to play our games in the market," adds Allison. "Most Android devices, those with the highest install base, are just not built to handle 3D gaming very efficiently."

For now, Android wont be getting any Telltale Games support. Hopefully Google can come up with a way to combat piracy and fix the fragmentation problem to help Android become the gaming platform it needs to be.

GTA 5 Confirmed Features UPDATED

Grand theft Auto 5 (GTA 5/GTA V) has been set to release on September 17 this year!
Some interesting features are coming, most of them are new to the GTA series. Most of the new features will no doubt be controversial, but Rockstar Games decided to go with the most realistic approach in this game. The fans of the GTA series wanted this so Rockstar Games provided.

- Enchanced Car Damage: In GTA 4 im sure you all noticed the excellent car damage. It was like no other, no game has been able to capture a real dent in a car instead of scripted crashes. In GTA 5 Rockstar bring the "Most realistic car experience yet". GTA 5 in promised to have double the car damage and double the realism. Every car that crashes will leave a realistic looking damage, including cracked and shattering windows. When you crash at full impact (going at above 40 KM) glass from the windshield will shatter and scratch your character causing him to bleed. Shards will stay in the car until the user will decide to get rid of it.

- Blood And Gore: GTA 5 will have lots of blood... Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 5 will have a real time blood flowing system which will make players grossed out by the realism. Limbs are now able to be dismembered by the player and head are also able to be decapitated. For the real time blood flowing system also known as "RTBFS", you will be able to shoot a character and blood will flow down his body from the gun shot wound. Blood will also drip on the ground in a dramatic way with real time. When limbs get ripped off with a chainsaw, blood will shoot from the arm.

- New Weapons: There are tons of new weapons for GTA 5. All the weapons from GTA 4 will be included, I will name Just a few of the new weapons. That we know of...

Recently a new photo of a leaked iWatch component has been surfacing the web. The iWatch is rumored to be a smartwatch that is supposed to compete with Google glass. Apple has a history of innovation, could they change the way we use wristwatch?

This leaked photo was first featured on Mac.com.hk and so far there is no guarantee this is a real picture. Supposedly it's from a factory worker who claims are manufacturing iWatches and the iPhone 5s. No word from apple about this image yet but we will know for sure this fall at the Apple keynote.

A user on a website GTAforums.com who goes by the name "MichaelTn21" pointed out what may be the next GTA 5 Gameplay trailer. On the crate behind Trevor, as you can see in the picture it states "FRAGILE COMPONENT" then AUG 17. If you are a Rockstar fan, you've seen a lot of GTA 5 trailers lately with hidden messages inside these trailers. Nothing Rockstar does is an accident. I'm sure we will be seeing something "fragile" on august 17,    Hopefully the GTA online trailer. What do you guys think? Will it be another gameplay trailer or nothing at all?
