Backbreaker Physics VS NFL Madden 13 physics/ Euphoria VS Infinity Engine

This years NFL madden game introduced a new feature, real time physics. This is made possible by the new infinite engine. Backbreaker was released back in 2010 and featured some of the best physics in any sports game. The physics in Backbreaker were done with the support of Natural Motion's Euphoria engine.


Tackle Physics

Madden 13: At first glance, when a tackle takes place you can notice the physics in action. However, these physics aren't mind blowing and seem flawed in many ways. Madden 13 seems to mix animations in with the physics, making the tackles seem buggy at times. If you decide to create a player and he happens to be a bit to tall or small, expect to see the physics glitch out causing to make an unfair play.

Backbreaker: Euphoria engine is known for provide a physics engine to highly rated games such as Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4 and the upcoming GTA 5. Backbreaker provides high quality and natural tackles with it's physics. Unlike Madden 13, Backbreaker offers the ability to strategically plan your tackles creating realism.


Ball Physics

Madden 13: In madden the ball is handled well with the physics. In an interception the ball will slam to the ground giving a chance for anybody to catch the fumble. THe lack of bounce is a flaw in a football game. Overall the ball physics work well and fluidly.

Backbreaker: The ball works with the same physics as it does in tackles. The gameplay is fair and makes for realistic fumbles and interception.



I would say the winner in the physics comparison would be Backbreaker. I'm sure maddens physics will evolve into something greater than Backbreaker's physics for the ultimate Football experience. We will have to wait until NFL Madden 14 to judge the evolution of physics.

Upcoming Games Using Euphoria Engine - BackBreaker 2, GTA 5, Star Wars Force Unleased 3

The Euphoria Engine is owned by NaturalMotion and was founded in 2006. You can find examples in games such as GTA 4 or Red Dead Redemption. The basic features of the Euphoria Engine feature physics controlled animations making games as realistic as possible. Rockstar Games is using this engine to its limits and does a great job with it, also getting great feedback, they are showing no signs of discontinuing. The upcoming games using Euphoria isn't a huge list since Natrual Motion is only working with very few game developers.

Grand Theft Auto 5

The new GTA will be defiantly be using the Euphoria engine. After all the great feedback Rockstar has been getting with Max Payne 3 and Red Dead. For Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar is planning t use the upgraded version of Euphoria which has a ton of improvements and collision fixes. Car crashes will also be using the Euphoria engine instead of the RAGE engine.

BackBreaker 2

Recently Natural Motion announce they will be releasing BackBreaker 2 in mid 2013. This will feature the same physics you loved in BackBreaker 1 with more animations that were missing in the first installment. BackBreaker 2 is promised to be more of a simulation game with more game modes and realistic stadiums, and is to compete with the Madden series.

Star Wars Force Unleashed 3

The release date for this game is still unannounced but rumored to be released in late 2013. Like the first 2 Star Wars Force Unleashed games that featured the Euphoria engine, The 3rd game wont disappoint. Many people only bought those games because of the euphoria engine making the game 10 times for fun than it originally was without the physics.

When prisoners were finally released from prison, they brought the sagging of the pants fad to the streets. from there it originated into suburban neighborhoods and started getting really popular around the 1990's.

What game has the best car damage?

With all the new racing sims and new games coming out, player are looking for that realism that others such as Forza does not provide. If Forza is claiming to be a simulator, at least simulate the car crashing. prefixed dents and scripted scratches aren't cutting it for the gamers. A game like GTA 4 blew out all other racing games with its realistic crashes. But whats the best? Here is a list from current gen games (in no order) with the best car damage.

1. Grid

Grid made its name for having the best crashes in the a game at that time. Grid out sold all other racing game sims and got better scores than most. The car damage system made the game fit in with the simulator experience, they looked really realistic. Not only could you do a really cool crash but you are able to watch the instant replay using different camera angles. In Grid, there were a few limitation when you flip the car, the top would not collapse in like a real car would. If your looking for a driving sim, Grid is defiantly for you.

2. Dirt 3

Dirt 1 and 2 were also really good in the car damage system but Dirt 3 took the trophy home. Dirt 3 is almost exactly like Grid expect you are racing off road most of the times. The damage in Dirt 3 was heavily improved from Grid, we all know how realistic the damage in grid was. Dirt 3 won the award of "The most realistic car damage in a video game" in the Guinness World Records 2012 Gamers Edition.


3. GTA 4

Grand Theft Auto 4 was one of the most critically acclaimed and highest rated game on the next gen consoles. The car damage was like no other racing game. It was one of the most realistic games all around, not just driving and car crashes. The engines used in this game were Euphoria and the Rage engine. The Rage engine is what helped make the car damage so realistic. Most of the damage is based on physics. If you haven't yet tried this game, go get this now if your craving realism in your games.

App Review: Waking Mars for iPhone, iPod and iPad - Deep, original experience!

Waking mars was featured on the App stores "What's Hot" category. After reading the description and viewing the screen shots, I decided to buy and give it a try. First thing I noticed about the games was the story behind it. The story was the type brought you into a mystery in which you had to solve. The game starts with a few simple puzzles of sort that later on progress to more complex levels.

Most of the time you spend in this is involves collecting samples, occasionally you will encounter and action seen such as trying to escape from a collapsing cave. The experience you get in this game can be compared to games on the PS vita or the Nintendo 3DS. Waking Mars is defiantly and enjoyable and runs very smooth on the iPhone 4S and iPad 3.

More GTA 5 Screenshots Released - Cycling, Parachute, Tennis!

Gta 5 gameplay footage emerges (Video) - Analysis

New Grand Theft Auto 5 gameplay has been leaked. The 2 videos of the gameplay are examples of the graphics and driving. The full game wont have any of these maps and will mostly be completely different then what you see here. No word on how the game play was leaked but it sure is impressive. Decide for yourself.



In this clip above you can see a van driving up a dirt road. The graphics look realistic with the added blur effect. The reflections on the car also refract from other light sources around the car. This is running at a solid 60 FPS while remaining stunning. The car features an all new shock engine. This allows the suspension to take action, making the driving experience feel more in control.



In the Second video, the map is still focused around same location, an island. The test vehicle is a blue convertible which handles the same way as the van from the first video. You can see the player driving the car who is most likely a test player and not the main character. The graphics are still looking great even better in the sunset scenario. more beta gameplay footage should be out soon, stay tuned.

Sleeping Dogs Review Xbox 360, PC, PS3 EXCLUSIVE

Think of this game as a arcade version of Grand Theft Auto. Nothing in this game is realistic looking and most things you do are over the top and exaggerated, that doesn't mean its not fun. The game takes you into a wild world of Hong Kong's underground gangs business. You are focused to kill, fight, and drive your way to justice. You play as a Hong Kong cop that decided to take on a lot of the cities worst criminals and gangs.

You meet a lot of interesting characters through the story and some are just useless. The most fun you will have in this game would be the car combat. Sticking your gun out of the window and shooting the tires of another car will cause it to explode or flip over. You can also let your partner drive the car while you shoot. This game has  a lot of gruesome scenes but barely any blood in the game play, that felt like a loss in shooting category.

Unlockables are a big part of this game. There are tons of outfits and weapons to unlock, a few may require DLC or pre ordered edition but that's nothing huge. You cant customize your characters facial features or hair in any way, you can just choose what clothes he can wear. Sleeping Dogs lacks of any multiplayer or local co-op. Square Enix gave it a try with this free roaming adventure, they did good, but not good enough.

I rate this game a 6/10

Scrotum stuck in XBOX 360 disk tray (REAL STORY)

The joke about someone getting their ball sack stuck in the Xbox 360 disk tray has been all over. The idea has been saturated by prank calls and jokes. Have you heard about the man that actually had his scrotum stuck in the disk tray? This happened 4 years ago to man named Warren. He was 23 at the time and in college. Drunk one night, he tried to insert his balls through the dick tray hole and due to a jagged chip in the tray, his scrotum was attached!

The more he tried to pull it out, the more he bled. The only way was to cut out the disk tray and carefully remove the mans scrotum from the disk trey. His friends helped him get into a car and drove him to a near by hospital. With his hands full of blood he stumbled into the hospital screaming for a doctor. After 20 minutes of waiting in the ER doctors sewed up the mans scrotum and decided never to speak of it again. Until now.

iPhone 5 housings revealed - The Real Deal

There's a video going around YouTube of a guy that got his hands of the new iPhone 5. He hasn't told anyone how he got this device and apple hasn't taken any action yet. In this video, the person is showing the iPhone has all parts wrapped up in small plastic packages. The video looks legit and fits the description of most rumors online.

The next day, the same person uploaded another video testing the durability of the new iPhone 5 screen compared to the iPhone 4 screen. There is a size difference, close to an inch difference. The iPhone 5 remains the same width but increased in height. The home button from the iPhone 4 did not fit with the iPhone 5 housing. The next Apple keynote will be on September 12 which will be introducing the next iPhone.

The trailer for the new paranormal activity movie has just been released. This is the fourth in its series and probably be the worst. This series has been losing its touch since the second coming. How much of these movies can they make? Dmitry Itskov is taking a step into the future. His plans are to make humans imorrtall publicly by the year 2045. The first attempt to try this will happen in about 7 years and will include a well know celebrity that is on his or hers death bed, meaning that they are old and have limited time on the earth. Dmitry Itskov believes this can be done with neuroscience, cybernets, and robotics. His goal is to make humans live withing a virtual world and have full conciuseness and controllable body.

The robotics organization known as DARPA decided to work along side with him for robotics research. Dmitry Itskov is now asking for more money to found this project since it isn't cheap, he is hoping for the richest people to step in.

One reason you should give Goober Messenger a try is, the simple and easy to use interface. There's only 3 buttons when your in a call, its really easy to use and works perfectly. Unlike other Skype alternatives I have never dealt with an issue with Goober Messenger. There's a friend search feature in the software that allows your to search the name of the person you would like to call, after they accept your friend request. Full Online Experience

The Wii never had a full online community. sure you could play online with some select games, but there was never a community that you could hop on the headset and talk to your friends. We hope for a huge improvement with the Wii U. If Nintendo could finally add some sort of friends list that is easily accessible like the PSN or Xbox Live, even Steam. there would be a huge increase in sales with that.

Next Gen Graphics
Nintendo needs to put the innovation part of there plans aside for a minute to focus on making the Wii U up to par with other console graphics. The graphics need to be a lot better than the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC because in a year or so when the New Xbox or PS4 comes out, the Wii U will have no chance of competing.

Games For Hardcore Gamers

Remember how the Wii had over 100,000 games that were complete garbage? There were only very few games that real gamers could play, such as Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Steel, Super Mario Galaxy. The rest of the well known Wii games were made for children, Hardcore gamers would speed through them with no challenge at all. In the Wii U, there needs to be tons of games that appeal to all audiences or else Nintendo will lose in the competing market.

Wii U Backwards Compatibility

The Wii U needs at least 2 previous console backwards compatibly. The Wii will most likely be included but we wish the GameCube could be included again. Some people still just use there Wii to play GameCube games believe it or not. The Wii U should also have ports for GameCube controllers and a support for an NES controller to use the with virtual console games.

EmpireAvenue.com - Great site to promote yourself!

A couple of days ago I was introduced to a site called EmpireAvenue.com which is the best thing for people looking to get themselves out there. The main purpose of Empire Avenue is to collect "Eaves", a virtual currency that can be used for various things such as, Missions, upgrades for your profile, and investing into other members.

App Review: Autorap for iPhone

Autorap is one of those unique apps that you get every once in a while that you will use daily! This app is similar to "Songify" or "LaDiDa", the apps that auto tune your voice and create songs instantly. Autorap does it the best in my opinion. The app is really addictive, I was making great sounding music instantly and had tons of fun doing it. You can also share your created song with the world and listen to others.

Autorap was created by a company called Smule. They are the creators of other great music apps like "Ocarina" and the autotune app called "I am T-Pain". Smule is the best at bringing interaction into music. You will have fun with all their apps and defiantly find yourself getting lost in the music with Autorap. With over 20 diffrent beats plus in app purchases, you will love this app. This app is also available on the iPad and other devices such as Android.

I rate Autorap a 9/10.

GTA 5 confirmed release date

Its official Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released "this holiday". By Rockstar Games saying "This holiday", I'm guessing it means between October and January. There will be a collectors edition which will feature a steal box, a strategy guide and some hand drawn artwork, also a DVD that takes you into a glimpse of Rockstars studios in New York. The game will have 2 discs. One for single player and another for multiplayer. There will not be a playable demo for GTA 5.

Fat people show less aging!

Would you ever believe that an overweight man could pose as a 25 year old and actually be 50? New studies by scientist discovered something interesting. Comparing a physically fit man to an overweight man, the average eye couldn't tell what age the overweight man was. The average fit male was easily identified of his age, between 30 and 40 years old. he was actually 34.

The overweight man was described as a 20-30 year old, his actual age was 56. Scientist haven't come up with a full explanation but do think it might have something to do wrinkles. There is less wrinkles on an overweight mans face and less age marks too.  Balding is also a big factor, people that are overweight have a less chance of going bald than skinny men.

This is a simple method that involves using Google voice and and an app called Talkatone. I do recommend getting a data plan from your carrier, you only need mobile internet. This will work on WiFi too.

Step 1: Go into the App Store and search for "Talkatone" Download it.

Step 2: Once Talkatone is downloaded, open the app and go into settings.

Step 3: Now go on your computer and create a Google Voice account. (Goole search it)

Step 4: Now log into your Google Voice account on the Talkatone app.

There you go! Now you have free calling and texting!

Viral Video - Skate park fight old man fighting kids

This video is starting to blow up. The more people that watch this, the better. People need to be aware of what happens in this video. I 40 year old man pushes a kid just for skateboarding in a skate park! Whats the logic behind that? Then then man who helped build the skateboard tries to talk some sense, and gets his skateboard thrown then gets choked.

There was no reason for the anger of the security guards, It's a skate park, what do you expect is going to happen. The youngest kid that was pushed in the video was only 15. You could see the anger on the kids face, he was about to strike the man down. The other man who claims he helped create the skate park also helped calm down the other skaters who were about to beat down the security guard. The video is below:

Recently, I have been taking stunning photos with the iPhone 4S. I'm really surprised with this quality coming form a mobile phone. Its almost comparable to a Cannon photography camera. There,s a few tricks that I can tell you, that will make your photos look amazing.

Tip 1 - Lighting:  The most important thing you need when taking pictures is light. If your outside on a sunny day, you will notice your picture look much more clearer and vibrant than if you were inside your home or a building.

Tip 2 - Volume Controls: The iPhone 4S has a feature that not much people know about. You can take photos like your holding an actual camera by pressing the volume buttons. This give much more stability when taking a picture, and feels much more natural.

Tip 3 - Focus: People don't know how to focus on the iPhone. They think that auto focus is doing all the work for you, its not. To get the clearest and most defined pictures you need to touch the part of the screen you want it to focus on.

These tips will help you get the most out of your iPhone 4S camera. FIFA 13 Player Impact Engine - Huge Improvements

In FIFA 12, EA brought to us the new physics engine known as "Player Impact Engine".
This was a huge improvement to the FIFA series, but it wasn't perfect. It was just a start, but it had a lot of issues and needed to be fixed. Now that FIFA 13 is coming out soon, EA promised a lot of huge improvements and more realistic impact.

Glitching was a big issue with last years FIFA 12. When you would get tackled to the ground your player would immediately jump right up without any problems. In FIFA 13, if you are slide tackled in the leg, when the player stands up he will be limping and stumbling until he regains enough strength to run normally again.

You will also be able to attack the referee in this FIFA. Though it is useless, a few people will try it for the fun of it, of course its a free ticket to a red card.
EA promised that all limps in FIFA 13 are included in the new impact engine, including finger that can poke into a players eye.

There is new cloth physics in the jerseys of the players. You are able to pull on players shirt. If you choose to have a high wind level weather, players jerseys wave in the wind to give the game an extremely realistic look.

FIFA 13 is set to release on the 25th of September on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Tutorial: How to setup Rogers mail account on iPhone, iPad and iPod

Some people are having a lot of issues getting this to work, so I'm going to guide you through a few easy steps to get it working flawlessly. Its easier than you think!

Step 1: Open the settings app on either your iPhone iPad or iPod (its all the same)

Step 2: Scroll down until you find "Mail, Contacts, Calenders", tap it.

Step 3: Tap on "Add Account", You should see a list of a few providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, at the bottom you should find "Other", Tap on that.

Step 4: Go into "Add Mail Account". In that, enter all your Rogers info and tap on "Next" in the top right corner.

Step 5: Now you have it set up but you will get an error message when you open the mail app. To fix this, go back to the main settings menu and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calenders" again.

Step 6: You should see the account you just added, tap on that. Now you should see an "Incoming mail server" box. Tap on the "Host Name" and delete every thing it says.
(There's no need to delete anything else except the "Host Name" field.

Step 7: In the "Host Name" field that you deleted, replace it with this: pop.broadband.rogers.com

Step 8: Scroll down until you see the outgoing server which is named "SMTP". Delete everything in that field too. Now replace it with this: smtp.broadband.rogers.com
